DMF Free Silica Gel Pouches
Silica Gel is a highly porous, amorphous form of silicon dioxide, naturally structured into hard, irregular granules or beads. At a microscopic level, its interlocking cavity organization provides a massive internal surface area—approximately 800 square meters per gram—making it a high-capacity desiccant superior to traditional moisture absorbers.
Our DMF Free Silica Gel Pouches work on the principle of physical adsorption. Water molecules cling to the gel's surface because it maintains a lower vapor pressure than the surrounding air. In high-humidity conditions (above 50% Relative Humidity), stored or in-transit goods become vulnerable to moisture damage; our desiccant pouches mitigate this risk by reaching a state of equilibrium with the atmosphere, effectively "trapping" harmful dampness.
One of the most significant advantages of using our silica gel is its chemical stability. Unlike other desiccants, there is no chemical response, no hazardous by-products, and no change in physical shape even when fully saturated. Furthermore, our products are strictly Dimethyl Fumarate (DMF) Free, ensuring complete safety for consumer goods, electronics, and export-grade packaging.
